Carolyn loves color, nature and loves where she lives. Although she began as an oil painter, she now works almost exclusively in transparent watercolor, combining realism with impressionism. "The effect of light and shadow is an important ingredient in each of my paintings and watercolor lends itself beautifully to that because of its transparency. I paint the things that touch me personally in some way."
Carolyn studied and received her B.S. in Art Education from the State University College in Buffalo. Through years of experience, exhibition opportunities, commissions, Carolyn is a true master of her art.
Carolyn enjoys a full life of painting and shares her home with her husband, daughters, cats and gardens.
Carolyn joined MIC in 1996.
